On 11/24/12, Stations 1 & 27 were alerted to an MVC with entrapment. Units arriving on scene found a car vs tractor trailer with the driver of the car trapped. Once crews completed extrication, the patient was evaluated in the BLS unit then transferred to Trooper 4 and transported to Christiana Hospital. Units responding were A-27, B-27, A-1, B-1, 27-1, Rescue 27, 1-6, Utility 27, New Castle County Paramedics and Middletown Police Department.
