February 22, 2017 Stations 1&27, 4 &24, and 29 were alerted to a Commercial Fire at Johnson Controls on Broad Street in Middletown.  First units arrived and investigated the situation.  It was found that there was a fire in the wall and roof area of the building.  Crews were sent inside to structure to make access to the fire area, while crews worked outside in lifts to access the roof area.  Mutual Aid was provided by Stations 15 and Kent County Delaware Station 44 with Ladders.  Crews worked diligently to extinguish the fire and the situation was placed under control and the units returned to their respective stations.
