On Sunday October 28th, Stations 1 & 27, 24, 26, 29, NCC Parametic, Kent County Stations 44 and 45, Cecil County Maryland Station 1 were alerted to a working house fire on East Lake Street in Middletown. A24 went arrival with heavy fire from the front of the house. 27-5 arrived onscene and put two hand lines in service, water supply was established from the hydrant on East Lake and North Borad St. Search was made and no occupants were in the house. The dwelling was devided into multiple apartments. Additonal manpower and apparatus were called in to assist with the fire. A second water supply was established from East Lake and North Catherine street. The fire was extinguished and situation was placed under control.
