Friday evening, July 4th, prior to fireworks standby, Stations 1&27, Engine and Rescue 4&24 and Engine 26 were alerted to a house fire at 410 Ramuno Drive in the Middletown Village community. Engine 27-5 arrived on scene with smoke showing from the front door. Middletown Police had arrived just prior to the engine and extinguished the fire. Crews checked for fire extension and ventillated the residence, also removing the stove before clearing the scene.
