Wednesday morning, January 28th at 04:20hrs, Stations 1&27 were alerted for an MVC in front of the 301 Travel Plaza. Fire department personnel arrived to find a accident involving two tractor trailers with a significant diesel fuel leak. DNREC and HAZ-MAT 30 were requested to assist, along with Del-DOT for the load of metal that shifted from one of the trailers. Units responding were: B-1, B-27, 27-1, Rescue 27, DNREC, HAZ-MAT 30, Del-DOT and Middletown Police.
