Sunday September 27th at 03:33 hrs, Stations 1&27 were alerted for an Engine to assist Chesapeake City on working barn fire. Shortly after dispatch, Volunteer Hose Company was re-alerted for an additional engine and the air unit to assist, as well as a ladder. Fire department personnel were on scene over 4 hours assisting. Units responding were Engine 27-5, Rescue 1, Utility 27 with Air-27 and Tower-27.
