Tuesday morning, November 24th at 05:14hrs, the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown was alerted to assist the Odessa Fire Company on a working house fire in the Odessa Chase neighborhood. Firefighters from Odessa arrived with fire showing on a single family residence on Olde Dutch Drive. Crews from Odessa, Middletown, Townsend, Port Penn and Smyrna were on scene for two hours extinguishing the fire. Units responding from Middletown were Rescue 1, Engine 27-5, & Tower 27.
