Saturday morning, June 5th at 02:39hrs, Stations 1&27, NCC Medic 5B, NCC ALS-25 and Trooper 4 were alerted for a vehicle accident with entrapment in the 4600 block of Summit Bridge Road. Fire department units arrived on scene to find a two vehicle accident, where a disabled vehicle had been struck. The driver of the second vehicle was not trapped, but flown by Trooper 4 to Christiana Hospital for injuries sustained in the accident. The Delaware State Police are investigating.
