Monday evening at 22:59hrs, Stations 1&27, 4&24 and 26 were alerted for a extinguished structure fire at the Middletown Village Apartments. Fire department personnel arrived to find a stove fire that had been extinguished by the buildings sprinkler system. Deputy Chief Watts reduced the response to apparatus from Middletown and crews assisted the resident with clean-up of the excess water.
