Tuesday morning at 03:32hrs, Stations 1&27 were alerted for a ladder company assist to Townsend on a house fire in the area of West Founds Street in the Townsend Village II community. Townsend firefighters arrived to find a single family dwelling fully involved upon their arrival. Tower 27 was placed on the A/D corner of the residence and the aerial master stream was placed into service. Crews from Townsend, Middletown, Odessa and Clayton were on scene for about 2 hours. Middletown apparatus that was on scene of the incident were Tower 27, Engine 27-5, Engine 1-6, Utility 27 with the Air Unit and Ambulance B-1.
