Middletown was alerted to assist Cecilton, MD on a possible fire in their fire station. Tower 27 arrived and was ordered to set up in front of the building and put their ladder to the roof. The crew of 27-3 was to take a hose to the second floor meeting room to investigate a smoke condition. An extensive search for the source of the smoke was undertaken and the utilities were shut off. The smoke cleared and building maintenance crews were called in. Middletown units were released about 9 am.
