Sunday proved to be an active day for firefighters at the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown. 

The day started off during the overnight hours with a Rollover Vehicle Accident along Boyds Corner Road.  The overnight crew at station 1 was on scene quickly and handled the single vehicle accident prior to units from station 27 arriving.

Later, crews handled a mulch fire along Rt 301 in the area of WalMart, as well as a fire alarm activation at Nino's.
