Saturday, July 24th, the Volunteer Hose Company provided a cover-up crew from 6am until 6pm so the membership from Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder of Newark could pay their respects to a sister who lost her life earlier in the week. Terri Schall, who was a volunteer with Aetna and also worked for the Appoquinimink School District as an Athletic Trainer at Middletown High School, died in a tragic accident earlier this week near her home.

While there, the crew from 1-7 handled a motor vehicle accident at Route 40 and Frenchtown Road.

The officers and members of the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown wish to extend our condolences to the members of the Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder of Newark, and the family of Terri Schall.
